Tehran, Feb 7, IRNA
Iran-TORM1 Air Defense Shield
The Iranian armed forces tested a modern air defense shield dubbed as TORM1, Commander of the Air Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier-General Hossein Salami said on Wednesday.
The IRGC Navy and Air Force started military exercises in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman on Wednesday.
Salami said that the specialized military exercise code-named 'Saeqa' has been designed to boost air defense and counter-attack in the face of any possible offensive against Iranian airspace.
He said that the new generation of missile systems have been employed to boost defensive and deterrent capability of the country.
Salami said that TORM1 has a 12 km range which can be increased to 20 km, adding that the air defense shield is capable of rapidly tracing down 47 targets and engaging with eight objects
simultaneously.
He said that employing several units of the air defense shield will help protect airspace from hostile action.
Salami said that TORM1 air defence shield is capable of tracing down modern Cruise missile.
The military exercises in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman will continue on Thursday.

If Russians have advanced weapons it is because they stole the technology from America or other Western European countries. Or perhaps they acquired it from Israel which routinely sells sensitive American military technology without a hint of concern for the interests of the American people.
This recent propaganda about Iranian military strength is somewhat reminiscent of how the Iraqi military was touted before the first war between America and Iraq. Iraq did indeed have many of the best Russian/Soviet armaments. Those weapon systems were integrated with the best technology that Western Europe had to offer.
Unfortunately for the Iraqis, and unlike America, their government lacked people with the skill to utilize those weapons effectively. Like other third-world cesspools where I’m sure many of the people who post on this site reside, Iraq’s “great power” was all propaganda. The Iraqi military was destroyed at an amazing pace and with great ease by America.
The entire world was very vividly and graphically shown the inferiority of Russian/Soviet weapons. Of course it didn’t help that the Russians had stabbed the Iraqis in the back by providing America with detailed information about those weapon systems, including how to disable them.
The fools who crow about “bad America” while praising Russia should realize that Russia played a large role in the destruction of Iraq.

...ask yourself: why is Boeing deploying 3.500 Russian engineers, if Russians steel technology from the west?
Ridiculous remarks! Not to forget that Russia had a weapon project with US deploying Nano technology.
Are you an Israeli stupid?

You stupid ass, US was willing to pay millions for any Soviet Block pilot to defect to west so that they could see why the Mig-27 got clocked at over 5 mach when their pot bellied hype planes could only do a measly 1.7mach, in recent combat exercise with the Indian Air Force flying ancient Mig-21 and also 27 and Su-31, they blew out the USAF's cream flying F-16 and F-18 Hornet, not once but twice leading to a US senate hearing, Mikkoyan still makes jets with the highest thrust rating on earth, the new Mig-35 and the older Su-31 are phenomenally good hardware, so are the Russian tank busters and SAMs, just ask the idiot USAF pilots flying over Vietnam, even in the Korean conflict, the USAF did quite poor, specially when the Russian pilots flew the Mig-19s, learn some history US ass kisser, why are you here anyways, go rescue the Marines in Iraq who are getting the ass kicking of their life, go fly an Apache.

It’s interesting that you mentioned Russian aircraft from the time of the Korean War. One of the most famous from that period is the MiG-15, which used a British Rolls-Royce Nene jet engine, and a swept wing design copied from German research.
The British engine was used because the Russians were unable to successfully copy the German HeS-011 engine that they had originally intended to use in the MiG-15.

So the rest of the world including the Russians are all idiots and only God's chosen people in the west has given everything to the world, even the Russian space program was fake I guess, both US and Russia used German technology except Russians were better students and had better crop of German scientists, US only had Werner Braun, no wonder Kennedy started foaming in the mouth when Sputnik was launched. Till date US of Assholes have been the biggest stealer and plunderer after the Brit kingdom capitulated, they loot the world, plunder destroy at will and steal big time from others, their education system in shambles, they lure scientists from the poorer part of the world, when their ass gets whupped, they are too sore to acknowledge it, case in point being the recent Chinese capability of shooting down satellites, point is, west has been a thief from time immemorial, they learnt how to count from the east, learnt to print, make guns all from east and doesn't even have the decency to give credit where its due. The Mig 19 and its successors were all Russian design, the US fucks copied the Mig 27 after the Polish crook pilot defected with it to the west, who is copying whom.

American military aviators saw great success in the skies of Korea and Vietnam. In both conflicts, American pilots maintained favorable kill ratios. Your claim to the contrary is incorrect. I suggest that you stop admonishing others to learn history until you do so yourself.
"case in point being the recent Chinese capability of shooting down satellites"
America has had the capability to destroy satellites since the 1980’s. One F-15 fighter armed with an ASM-135 ASAT missile destroyed a satellite in a 555 km orbit. That was more than twenty years ago.

We all know the success of the US armed forces, as a matter of fact, USAF opened up Miramar CA for the very reason of poor showing of USAF fighter pilots. Now as for the brave US army in Korea and NAM, the rapist pillagers had to run from both arenas, NAM they had to run with their tails in their butts need I remind the massive US army surrender in Korea, your jaundiced journalists write your own version of history to sell your hype, the real history shows otherwise as can be seen on this site, news which will never reach the west, most of it. About F-16 launching ASTAT, I am well aware of that, the Chinese used a different technology where a ground based missile shot down a satellite, far more strategically viable than a retard USAF pilot flying a F-16 over the sky to shoot down a missile, if thats not significant, why is the US crying foul all over the world. Dont' try and spread your slime convoluted version of the events of the world, just like you invaded Korea, NAM and now Iraq by selling lies to the collectively low IQ and gullible US population, won't work here. As I said, go fly a Apache, Chinook or Blackbird over Iraq, leave. Now I am well convinced of what you are, a citizen of US of Assholes, most likely of Zionist origin.

Compare the F22 to the Su-37. Enough said.
Next please. This is a joke. I've worked with Russian scientists and I do not exaggerate when I say they are the BEST in the world.
