Former President Carter has done it again. He dared to meet with Hamas leaders in Syria and talk about how to come to an end of violence and war. Who does he think he is? How could he advocate actually talking to the other side in a long-standing dispute? Never mind that Hamas was an overwhelming winner in the Palestinian elections (held early at our insistence). Jimmy Carter should just keep his religious peace-loving nose out of it and leave the Mid-East to experts like George Bush, Dick Chaney, and Condi Rice; after all they are our leaders now and they did such a nice job of juicing up false information, which lead to the Iraq War.

I urge everyone to read President Carter’s book, Palestine: Peace not Apartheid. Look for information from sources other than the American Media. Then think about what is really the truth in the Mid-East.

So the powers that be on the Liberal and Conservative sides now join together to once again label President Carter as an Anti-Semite. It seems to me that we need to change the definition of Anti-Semitism from hostility and hatred of Jews to those who are hated by the Israeli-lobby in America. Then one could rightly pin the name on Mr. Carter.
