The Palestinian Football Federation (FPF) have filed a complaint to FIFA after six players were hindered by Israeli authorities when they tried to leave the Gaza Strip for Nouakchott where an international friendly had been scheduled to take place between Mauritania and Palestine on Wednesday, August 11, according to Reuters.

Midfielder Souleimane al Abeid said the players were told they could not leave because of their status as residents in the Gaza Strip.
