Syria ready to compromise in Middle East peace process
Russia stands by its international obligations and has no plans to stop an arms deal with Syria, a Kremlin aide said on Saturday.
Sergei Prikhodko said recent reports in some Israel media outlets misrepresented Russia's position on cooperation with Syria.
The Haaretz daily reported on Friday that Israel was working to "thwart a Russian arms deal with Syria" and that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had asked his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to stop the sale of advanced P-800 Yakhont supersonic cruise missiles.
"Lately, some Israeli media outlets have been actively disseminating information distorting Russia's position on the implementation of its obligations to Syria, including in the sphere of military and technical cooperation," Prikhodko said.
"I would like to stress that the Russian Federation honors all the agreements that were previously signed between Russia and Syria."
He said Russia's military cooperation policy is shaped by the president and is not directed against third countries.

...by carrying out more CIA torture orders. The rockets will never arrive! It's like with the S-300 myth delivered to Iran, than promised to Turkey

This sounds very much like deja vu Iran, with the S300s . I agree with gmmonko. I think they had better try to obtain defensive missiles from China instead.

"I think this is the third time I had to correct your lie so the next time will involve expletives.
Syria tortured the Canadian man due to information given to them by JORDAN not the USA. When the air force intelligence found out what was going on, they released him fairly quickly.
Does this satisfy you?
I'm not saying that the Syrian intelligence doesn't share intelligence with the CIA (they do, when it suits them), I'm saying your particular incident isn't as simple as "Syria torturing for the US/CIA".
And what a stupid example you've given us, Syria is clearly an enemy of the USA unlike Putin and his little friend Medvedev who reguarly work hand in hand with the enemy. They even prevented the happy+brave Russian soldier from achieving total victory in Georgia. Now sackofshittsvillivie is braving up for a new attack against Russia, maybe this time NATO will move nuclear warheads into Georgia?"
This is now the 7th time you've hounded me. You will regret this.

OH, so Syria tortured the Canadian becasue JORDAN asks and that makes it all ok.
Do the aims then justify the means?
Are people happy with their governments torturing as long as it is for the right country?
Torture is cruel, inhumane and barbaric and belongs in no country which wishes to claim or represent moral authority or higher ground.
Israel, US, Russia, UK. Syria, Egypt, China, and all the little tin pot nations under savage stooge leaders continue to be in the dark and away from light while tortue is permitted where they control.
Until all the world condemns such we have progressed little.
Science even suggests that the information gathered is unreliable and the perpetrators are also damaged.(no sympathy there).
the information issue is complicated as is the movement of alliances and actions.
Syrian do you really think that Jordan was not up to its neck (as described in the white paper Israel, Protecting the Realm and it's Us PNAC counterpart) in the actions of the military Industrial complex/oil resources groups that control the US? Consider the direct reference to Jordan in those documents and the current situation as a result of events in both Palestine-leadership. central Iraq and Jerusalem.
hands are dirty everywhere . Let us hope future deeds will be cleansing.
