IED against American patrol in Thi-Qar

Sasiriya (NINA) – An improvised explosive device went off against American patrol in Shomoukh neighbourhood in the city of Nasiriya.

A statement on Sunday, Sep. 5, by Thi-Qar police said, “The explosion resulted in minor damages to one of patrol’s vehicles with no casualties.”

It added, “A woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.” / End.
