Terry Jones initially cancelled the event, which has caused international outrage, saying a local imam had told him an Islamic centre planned near New York's Ground Zero would be moved.
But the imam, Muhammad Musri, denied saying a deal had been reached.
Mr Jones later said he felt he had been lied to and could reconsider his decision to drop the protest

Orthodox Jews set fire to hundreds of copies of the New Testament in the latest act of violence against Christian missionaries in the Holy Land.20.05.08
On the 23rd March 1984 hundreds of copies of the New Testament were ceremonially burnt by Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem.
Leaders of two local secularist groups, Jesus: Just Say No! and Presbys In Remission, have announced plans to burn copies of the New Testament, in protest of a Christian Concord man’s plot to blow up an abortion clinic. Self-proclaimed Christian freedom fighter Justin Moose is in custody after the FBI charged him with distributing information on how to make explosives, in an effort to bomb an abortion clinic.September 10th, 2010
Two weeks ago on Saturday night hundreds of Orthodox Jews broke into the community's place of worship, totally demolished it and stole the public address equipment. The books and pamphlets they found there were piled in the yard and a large bonfire was lit. While the books were burning, Orthodox Jews danced around the bonfire. I have seen many news on burning the new testament by the jews on regular basis whereas muslims do not do it in general. The people who supposedly killed jesus(peace be upon him) and still proud of it and burning the new testament every year get a great support from all the christian country around the world!! muslims respect jesus, moses , david , abraham( peace be upon them) and get bombed by the christian!! I have never comprehend the logic behind it
